WG Fundraising
MISSION
Our main objective is to raise funds to help finance school trips and other school projects. As a European School, we firmly believe that travel enriches our children's educational experience. We therefore strive to ensure that financial constraints are not an obstacle for them.
Funding sources :
- Projects: Sale of class photos, publications (yearbook, recipe books) and organized events (End of the Year Party, Winter Festival, Easy Wednesday).
- Membership
- External support: We are exploring partnerships with private sponsors and patrons although this initiative is still in its infancy.
Highlights
- PA Members: 270 families in 2023.
- Events: Three Easy Wednesdays per year, two cookbooks published and a yearbook since 2021.
- Contributions: 15000 euros for school outings this year, 8000 euros in 2022-23 and 1900 euros in 2021-22.
Provision of playground and library equipment, totalling over 2000 euros over the last three years.
L'ÉQUIPE
- Composition: Parents of students in various levels and sections, both English and French-speaking.
- Role: To ensure a diverse representation of families so that our actions benefit everyone
- Skills: Our members have a wide range of skills from designing publications and coordinating projects to negotiating with partners to obtain the best rates for our actions and more.
