This past March 21, the new Neurodiversity work group hosted an evening on ADHD. Parents (and students) were invited to learn more about the disorder.
A child psychiatrist and school mom, Dr Georgiana M. came to talk about the symptoms of ADHD and its diagnosis. She also gave practical tips for dealing with this disorder on a daily basis. Furthermore, stalked about how ADHD evolved over the lifespan, particularly in the teenage years and adulthood.

The psychiatrist then took individual questions from the audience in order for parents to better understand their own child’s case. We would really like to extend a warm thank you for her time and sharing of knowledge.
The planned workshops were postponed to a later yet to be determined date.
