Wednesdays are often a huge rush with our children coming home at noon completely famished. This is exactly why the Fundraising group organizes Easy Wednesdays! Order a meal in advance, pick it up at the same time as your child(ren), heat up, and enjoy! It’s also practical for our older P and S students who may be going home alone.
The third Easy Wednesday of the year took place this past April 17. Our last date of the school year showcased local cuisine with a new partner: Casier du Nord. We hope our (especially new to the area) school families enjoyed the culinary delights of Northern France such as flemish stew and Maroilles chicken. A big thank you to the group volunteers for their hard work and dedication!
Thanks to your orders, the PA sold 82 meals for a profit of 250€. As a reminder, funds raised go towards school projects, outings, and trips. For example, this year the PA has pledged 2,000€ for new library books and 15,800€ (an average of 50€ per pupil traveling) towards this school year’s trips, which helps to lower the contribution asked of families.
