The Parents’ Association is actively searching for sponsors to contribute to the funding of our Care Services (périscolaire). Thanks to the hard work and dedication of several parent volunteers, we are proud to announce that we are the recipient of a 20,000€ endowment fund from Entreprises et Cités – Fonds de Dotation that will benefit the Care Services.
Endowments from Entreprises et Cités – Fonds de Dotation reinforce the organization’s mission of serving local development. The Foundation’s main missions are to:
- Strengthen regional excellence through initiatives involving universities, schools, institutions, associations and businesses,
- Contribute to creating the conditions that enable regions to anticipate, respond to new challenges and be proactive players in the future,
- Promote sustainable economic development,
- Promote innovative social models combining individual well-being and economic performance.
As you may be aware, the PA has been in charge of managing EELM’s Care Services since September 2023 as defined by the school’s bylaws. The services are provided by the Marcq en Baroeul Centre Social et Culturel. One of our objectives is to maintain the rates equivalent to those charged by the city of Marcq for residents. The endowment will help to finance a part of the morning and afternoon care. Sponsors like Entreprises et Cités – Fonds de Dotation allow us to strive to give the best care in line with the values and education of European Schools.
