In collaboration with the school, the Library work group helped to organize the first multilingual storytelling evening of the school year under the theme of winter.
Parents and school staff volunteered to read stories to pupils in M and P as well as their parents in various languages including English, French, Slovak, Polish, Swedish, Serbian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and German. Four classrooms cozily invited the audience with decorations in the colors of winter and animals.
Children and adults alike were mesmerized by the different tales. We would like to give a huge thank you to all of those who participated and/or organized the event, especially our enchanting storytellers.
We can’t wait for the next storytelling evening!
