One of the objectives of the Ecomobility Work Group is to think how to keep everyone safe on their home-school journeys (and beyond). We encourage everyone cycling or using a scooter to wear helmets and stay visible by using high-vis vests and lights.
This past Wednesday February 14, several parent volunteers from the group distributed bike light kits to pupils who needed them. The local ADAV was generous enough to donate the kits as well as pamphlets on cycling safety.
The operation was so successful that all the available kits were distributed. The group plans to repeat the action in autumn before the dark winter hours start again.
