The EcoSchool work group presents the charity of the month: every month, we present a local charity that needs visibility and/or volunteers, and that is in line with our school’s values of solidarity.
💡 Join Migraction59 : there are already more than 10 EELM families involved in this wonderful project, whether as drivers and/or hosts.
📝 Every week-end, Migraction59 organizes the reception of several dozen exiles living in the ‘jungles’ of Calais in conditions that are unworthy of our country, giving them a little respite and rest for a WE, a bed, a shower, washing, hot meals, Wi-Fi, moments of sharing and humanity, a listening ear and visibility.
📢 It’s cold outside : It’s at this time that they need us most, and the 2024-2025 campaign will finish at the end of March or April 2025, before resuming in September for the 2025-2026 campaign.
🔂 If you’re interested in taking part in this wonderful human adventure, don’t wait any longer and join the ‘Actions Solidaires’ WhatsApp group (already more than 70 families presents) to ask questions to parents already involved, find out how to register with Migraction59, and also to share other ideas for Actions Solidaires between EELM parents.
